Feeling silly...

I did something about which I feel kind of silly...I somehow managed to accidentally erase a whole bunch of pictures off a CD I had.

Yesterday, I was writing a blog about spring and our pond. I wanted to add a picture to the blog of our pond which I had taken on my camera. However, because the file size of the picture was too large, it was taking forever to upload, and I just gave up. In the process of burning them to my disk (with the other pics on it) I somehow managed to erase the pictures that were on it. Pictures of friends, babies, parties, GONE. Not all of the pics are gone, but most were deleted. I am not happy.

So now I am wondering if their is a way of retrieving the pictures. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Then maybe I won't feel so silly afterwards...
